Andrew James Hoy, OAM〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Hoy, Andrew James )〕 (born 8 February 1959 in Culcairn, New South Wales) is an Olympic-level equestrian rider, who competes for Australia. The London 2012 Summer Olympics were his seventh games.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Andrew Hoy Bio, Olympics Stats, and Results )
He has won four Olympic medals, three gold and one silver.
He lived in the UK with his wife Bettina Hoy, who competes at the Olympic level for Germany, for 12 years in Gloucestershire, at the Gatcombe Park estate of The Princess Royal. In January 2009 they moved to Warendorf, Germany. The Hoys are the only married couple competing in the same Olympic discipline for different teams in the same year (see also Raphaël Poirée and Liv Grete Skjelbreid Poirée).
Hoy was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2000.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Andrew Hoy OAM )
